Alley Gates Fitted

New alley gate were fitted to streets in and around the Gt Townley St area. These gates are the repsonsibility of residents, but have been shown to be effective at preventing crime.

Local Labour Councillor Harold Parker (shown above) said 'I'm pleased that residents have better protection from criminals. It shows how seriously we take resident's safety in the area.'
